Celebrating One Year on Libbie & Grove

Beecroft & Bull would like to express our gratitude for your support during our first year on Grove Ave!

Beecroft & Bull Richmond Location Grove Ave.

From working hard to open our doors to the West Hampton neighborhood in September 2022, to hiring new staff & hosting events, we are thrilled with everything happening in our new home. Our neighbors have been very welcoming. We’ve seen many new & returning faces, & we cannot wait to see what the future holds for our Beecroft & Bull family. Thank you for being a part of it!

OUR TEAM

New store, new staff. If you're familiar with Beecroft and Bull Richmond, then you're acquainted with Tom Tatum, our manager. He is the leader of both our new and experienced staff and is responsible for making everything possible. We welcome you to come in and say hello to our staff anytime!
Tom Haring

Tom Haring has been with us for over 29 years! He has recently moved from full time to part time and is using his extra time to read all the books he can, spend time with his kids and his grand-dog Doug. Come Christmas season, you can expect to see him as the man in the big red suit about town spreading cheer! You’ll find him in the store Monday, Tuesday, and off and on Thursday-Saturday.

Christine Barringer

Christine Barringer is one of our tailors! She studied dramatic arts at UNC Chapel Hill with a concentration in costume construction. She is always wearing something she has made herself and some of her favorite things to make are custom shirts for her three-legged dog Marlin and quilts from repurposed fabric. She has found a home with us here at Beecroft and can help with any tailoring needs!

Sarah Kelley

Sarah Kelley is another one of our tailors! She studied fashion design at VCU. Before working at Beecroft, she worked as a tailor and costumer for film and TV! She has even done some costuming and designing for music videos in Berlin. When she’s not in the tailor shop, you will find her upcycling found objects into fun jewelry.

Kara Sclafani

Kara Sclafani is a full-time salesperson and has been with B&B for a year and a half. She studied fashion design at VCU Arts and has been in retail since 2018. She continues to create art projects and draw designs of her own. With her time off, she's cuddled up with her cat, Matcha, or at a drift track cheering on her boyfriend and friends as they drive sideways at high speeds. She could sell cookies to a Girl-Scout and will “welcome you with sunshine”. You can find her in the store Tues.-Sat. and she would love to put together a wardrobe for you.

Paige Mayfield

Paige Mayfield works full-time on our operations, event planning, and sales. She studied marketing at The University of Tennessee with a minor in the arts. After moving to Richmond in 2020, she worked in retail management until joining us beginning of 2023. Outside of the store, she is at the river with her dog Waylon, hiking and camping on a mountain, or listening to live music wherever a its playing! You’ll see her in the store most days and is ready to get you suited up!

Charlie Ferguson

Charlie Ferguson is another rockstar part-timer on our team. After two years with B&B, he has become a friendly familiar face who is always happy to help! If not in the store, you’ll catch him on the golf course or sipping on a martini at his favorite spots. You can come see him in the store on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday!

Tom Tatum

Tom Tatum is our manager and a familiar face many of you have come to know. If you don’t know his, he more than likely knows yours so come say hi. He has been with Beecroft for 36 years now and is the go-to guy for custom clothing! When he isn’t in the store you can find him on the golf course practicing his game and lowering his handicap. When he isn’t golfing, he is spending time with his wife Inez, and spoiling their sweet dog, Maggie. This guy works hard so you don’t
